May Georges Crémant de Loire Brut is a distinguished sparkling wine from France's Loire Valley, crafted in the traditional method. This wine is a blend of 50% Chenin Blanc, 25% Chardonnay, and 25% Pinot Noir, sourced from three distinct vineyards totaling nine hectares:
- Touraine: Characterized by rolling green hills.
- Montlouis: Known for its tuffeau subsoils and sandy topsoils.
- Central Loire River Port: Features flinty clay soils alongside the river.
Tasting Notes:
- Appearance: Pale golden color with elegant, persistent bubbles.
- Aroma: A harmonious blend of green apple and brioche, complemented by chalky minerality.
- Palate: The Chenin Blanc contributes chamomile and lanolin notes, the Chardonnay offers fresh green apple flavors, and the Pinot Noir adds delicate cherry nuances. The wine exhibits a creamy texture balanced by focused acidity, leading to a long, precise finish.
Food Pairing:
This versatile Crémant de Loire pairs well with a variety of dishes, including shellfish, poultry, lean fish, appetizers, and as an aperitif
