The 2021 Barnett Vineyards Spring Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon is a testament to the unique terroir of Napa Valley's Spring Mountain. Crafted by winemaker David Tate, this vintage is a blend of 88% Cabernet Sauvignon and 12% Petit Verdot, aged for 22 months in French oak barrels, 70% of which were new.
Tasting Notes:
Appearance: Deep, opaque purple hue, darker than previous vintages.
Aroma: Intense notes of blackberry, caramel, and anise, complemented by cassis concentrate, cedar, and dark cigar tobacco.
Palate: Silky entry with flavors of dark berries, cigar box, black cherry, and rich dark chocolate. Firm, chalky tannins balanced by strong mountain acidity, leading long cocoa/mocha finish
